Building Our Community event brings together Ivy students, faculty, and staff
The Kingland Hub buzzed with conversation on February 19 as nearly 100 Ivy students, faculty, and staff gathered for the college’s Building Our Community event. The annual event is an opportunity to learn from one another and strengthen the Ivy College of Business community.
Seated in small groups, participants discussed this year’s themes: having a sense of belonging and what it means to be successful. The conversations give students, faculty, and staff a chance to talk about their experiences at the Ivy College of Business.
The discussion groups were facilitated by staff members from Student Wellness, Recreation Services, and Student Counseling Services who generously shared their time and expertise. Volunteers from the Ivy Student Council and Multicultural Business Network student organizations took notes at each table.
The Building Our Community event was sponsored by the Dean’s Office and co-hosted by the Ivy Student Council and Multicultural Business Network.
