Digital Marketplace Analytics
Data analytics has quickly become essential to marketing efforts and decision-making, including for large and small firms in the fashion, events, and hospitality industries. With the digital marketplace analytics certificate, you will learn from the combined expertise of the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics and the Department of Apparel, Events and Hospitability Management.
Designed for both working professionals and for students looking to supplement another graduate program, our graduate certificate offers an innovative program for individuals who want to build their data analytics skills and to apply analytics tools to problem-solving in the fashion events, and hospitality industries.
Our graduate certificate in digital marketplace analytics provides an opportunity for you to understand foundational knowledge of business analytics, build business analytics skills, and develop effective evaluation strategies of consumer data relevant to fashion, events, and hospitality marketing.

Fundamentals
Our curriculum includes courses in the Ivy College of Business and the Department of Apparel, Events, and Hospitality Management. You will take one core course in business analytics, and choose electives from the following subjects and more:
- Business, accounting, marketing analytics.
- Logistics.
- Entrepreneurship.
- Merchandising, management, e-commerce.
- Social network and media.
Review the digital marketplace analytics certificate requirements. With approval from the director of graduate education (DOGE), all 15 credits may be applied later to an Ivy master’s degree at Iowa State University.

Applicants are required to have a bachelor’s degree. Two years of work experience is preferred, but not required. Entrance to the program is on a rolling basis. Applications must be received by the application deadlines.
