Prepare yourself to manage and mitigate cybersecurity risks. With our graduate certificate in enterprise cybersecurity management, you’ll learn how to define, deploy, and manage cybersecurity technologies and solutions.  

Designed for working professionals and graduate students, this certificate program provides a critical understanding of technological needs, threats, and weaknesses. Courses include:

  • Information asset management. 
  • Understanding cyber threats.
  • Appropriate protections. 
  • Enterprise cyber risk management. 
  • Cybersecurity management foundations. 
  • Security budgeting. 
  • Policies and procedures security.

  • Can be completed in eight to12 months.
  • $2,549 per course – international or domestic.
  • No GMAT/GRE required.

Fundamentals

Our curriculum includes core courses in network and security management and enterprise cybersecurity management. Core courses are available online. You can also broaden your horizons with an elective from one of the following areas:

  • Fraud examination and prevention.
  • Information warfare.
  • Enterprise systems and architecture.
  • Information systems management.

Review the enterprise cybersecurity certificate requirements. Electives are offered on campus in Ames, Iowa. With approval of the director of graduate education (DOGE),  all 12 enterprise cybersecurity credits may be applied later to an Ivy master’s degree at Iowa State University.

Applicants are required to have a bachelor’s degree. Two years of work experience is preferred, but not required. Entrance to the program is on a rolling basis. Applications must be received by the application deadlines.
