Sid-RamseySid Ramsey (’95 MBA) is a retired vice president of strategy and business development for UnityPoint Health.

As the chief planning and strategy officer for UnityPoint Health – Des Moines, he was responsible for strategic planning, marketing, medical transportation, and management of the Critical Access Hospital network of rural hospitals. UnityPoint Health-Des Moines is a $1.4 billion, integrated hospital and physician organization comprised of Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Blank Children’s Hospital, Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Methodist West Hospital, and its affiliated physician practices.

Ramsey is active in community non-profit organizations. In addition to the Ivy College of Business MBA Executive Advisory Committee, he is on the board of directors for the Iowa/Nebraska Division of the American Red Cross, SafeNet Rx, and has served in board leadership roles for the Science Center of Iowa, the Better Business Bureau of Iowa and the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce. Ramsey also holds a master’s degree from the University of Iowa. He lives in Des Moines, Iowa, where he has resided since 1980.
