Professor of Practice at Iowa State University teaching New Venture Financing. Former Venture Capitalist, CEO, and Corporate  executive leading venture capital and private equity investment and partner initiatives, as well as all mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Also former startup and operating CEO, GM, and VP Engineering primarily in broadband, fiber, wireless, and cloud based software markets. Served as board of director member/observer on fourteen tech companies.  Avid performing musician, recording albums and running theater and tribute show productions as T.C. Ortberg and Fermata Productions. Former Adjunct Faculty at Upper Iowa University. Owner of Fermata Limited Liability Company.
