The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics is pleased to welcome Zhiqiang (Eric) Zheng for a special guest lecture on Friday, April 26. Zheng is the Ashbel Smith professor in the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management at the University of Texas at Dallas.
The lecture is open to the public with no charge for admission.
Eric Zheng is the Ashbel Smith professor in the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management at the Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to joining the UT Dallas faculty in 2006, he was an assistant professor in the business school at the University of California, Riverside.
Zheng earned his PhD in information systems in 2003 from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he also earned his master’s degree.
His current research interests include fintech, blockchain, digital asset management, and healthcare analytics. Zheng is a senior editor at Information Systems Research and has served as an associate editor for INFORMS Journal on Computing, Information Technology Management, Journal of E-commerce Research, and the Journal of Management Analytics. He also served as an associate editor for special issues at MIS Quarterly and a senior editor for special issues at Production and Operations Management.
