About the speaker
Susan Cohen is an associate professor of management at the University of Georgia. Cohen received her PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research examines start-up accelerators, new venture formation, and managing technological transitions. Her work was awarded the Kauffman Foundation Challenge Grant and has been published in leading journals, including Administrative Science Quarterly, the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Research Policy, and the Harvard Business Review.
Cohen serves as representative-at-large for the Academy of Management’s technology and innovation management interest group and the Strategic Management Society’s entrepreneurship and strategy interest group. She also serves as associate editor for the Strategic Management Journal.
About the series
The Ivy College of Business Management and Entrepreneurship Speaker Series features scholars from around the country who visit campus to present their research in the fields of management and entrepreneurship. The series allows faculty and students to strengthen their scholarly network, encouraging discussion and dialogue on research and other shared interests.
