Make connections and develop your professional skills

One of the best ways to get involved at the Ivy College of Business is to participate in the Gerdin Leaders Academy. This is where you’ll make connections, meet your new network, and develop your professional skills — all with support from Ivy College of Business staff.

The Gerdin Leaders Academy is a program aimed at increasing your involvement at the Ivy College of Business by engaging in opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills in five different competency areas. When you participate, you’ll have two semesters to complete 11 activities in these areas, which give you the advantage when you graduate and start your career:

  • Ethics.
  • Leadership.
  • Service to community.
  • Professional development.
  • Diversity and global perspectives.
