Making connections with businesses
Any day now, the next issue of Ivy magazine will be hitting mailboxes across the country. The theme for the spring issue is “Making connections with businesses.”
We are deeply connected to business and industry at the Ivy College of Business. We have formed and strengthened partnerships over the years in an effort to provide our students with the best academic experience so they are career-ready when they graduate. That’s why this issue of Ivy magazine is devoted to our connections with businesses. In this issue, we pull back the curtain and show examples of how we do this in the classroom and in the real world. Below are a few highlights connected to the theme.
We’re making connections:
- In the classroom.
- Between students and businesses, thanks to the assistance of our professional staff in our two Business Career Services offices.
- Through student case competitions.
- Through student consulting services at CyBIZ Lab.
- Custom education for businesses.
Other features include:
- Christopher James, a junior in entrepreneurship, is making the Cyclone gameday experience accessible to all.
- Students build confidence with assistance from professional staff in the Writing and Speaking Center.
- Cameron Bristow, a senior in marketing, is heading towards a career in the entertainment business.
Those are just a few examples of the articles you can enjoy in the new issue of Ivy magazine!
