Fundamentals

Our online graduate certificate in supply chain management provides foundational concepts and applied technical skills that supply chain professionals need to manage a global supply chain effectively. The certificate requires four courses, including three core requirements and one elective. The core courses cover the following subjects:

  • Strategic process analysis and improvement.
  • Strategic logistics management.
  • Purchasing and supply management.

Review the supply chain certificate requirements. With approval of the director of graduate education (DOGE), all 12 supply chain management credits may be applied later to an Ivy master’s degree at Iowa State University.

Applicants are required to have a bachelor’s degree. Two years of work experience is preferred, but not required. Entrance to the program is on a rolling basis. Applications must be received by the application deadlines.
